Production takes 6 to 8 weeks: that’s how long it takes us to apply our expertise and craft high-quality shoes.

The team

A Pivotal Meeting

The story of Clémence Nerbusson and Sophie Brulé began with a meeting in 2015. They are two independent women from different backgrounds who share common values and aspire to the same ideals.

Partners since 2018, they decided to take over the workshop that manufactures Chaussures de Gatine at the end of 2020, convinced by the quality of these shoes and the importance of perpetuating this expertise.

Since then, they have been living and sharing every moment of this adventure with a top-notch team, in whom they place great trust and who support them in their ambitious project !

CLARISSE

Stitcher/Assembler

With a scientific baccalaureate and then a CAP (vocational certificate) in leather goods, Clarisse joined us as an apprentice to discover the fascinating trades of shoemaking. With her CAP in Bootmaking in hand, she took time to travel before rejoining our team in the unique role of stitcher-assembler.

GAËL

Assembler/Finisher

Born into a family of shoe assemblers, he worked for many years in orthopedics in various positions where he met Clémence and contributed to her technical training. His professionalism, adaptability, and curiosity made him the perfect candidate for our assembler/finisher position.

CORINNE

Finishing Specialist

After studying history, Corinne obtained a Master's in education before working in animation. Knowing she was skilled with her hands, we offered her a maternity leave replacement. The experience was successful, so she joined us a few months later and took on the finishing role.
